Jefferson Avenue Elementary just finished up a wonderful week of reading celebrations. We were excited to have Right to Read Week back at Jefferson this year, and are already beginning to think about next year.
The week actually started on Friday, March 4th with a groovy kick off program put on by the staff at Jefferson. The staff did an amazing job putting together a short skit about working together to build a better community. The children enjoyed the program and were informed about the week of actives that were to follow.
