It is with great excitement and pride that I introduce myself as the new principal of Shadyside High School. I believe that Shadyside Local School District has three incredible schools with terrific teachers, students and families. I consider myself privileged to be a part of this district.
My educational background is rooted in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where I studied mathematics and physics at Saint Vincent College. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in the aforementioned fields, I completed my teaching certification requirements through Saint Vincent. Additionally, I hold a Master of Science degree from Franciscan University in Steubenville in Educational Administration. I have taught mathematics and physics at the high school level and mathematics at the middle school level for several years prior to coming to Shadyside. I have also acted in administration capacities through various Athletic Departments.
Last year, as a mathematics teacher at Shadyside High School, I got to know the students and staff as well as learn what tradition, honor, and family means to the town of Shadyside. The supportive relationship between the town and the school is incredible. I promise to uphold the values championed throughout the district and provide a safe, challenging, and professional environment for your son or daughter to thrive.
