Dear Jefferson Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to school year 2014 -15. Every staff member has been working very hard to prepare for the return of our wonderful students. We have set very high expectations and made plans to guarantee that every student at Jefferson will be successful this school year.

In hopes to keep you well informed we will hold our open house on Tuesday, August 19th from 3:30 – 6:30. You may bring your child’s school supplies and fee money at this time.
We will continue to use student id numbers for our lunch program. First and second graders will use the same four digit number as last year. Kindergarten parents will receive their child’s four digit number so that you can practice at home with your child to help them memorize it for lunch. We will have a list to guide them too! If you would like to create a lunch account, please send money or check in an envelope to the main office. Mrs. Brooks will deposit your money into your child’s lunch account and let you know when your account is getting low. Otherwise, you can send money in daily with your child.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding while kicking off the school year. I look forward to seeing you and your child(ren) at our open house and most of all I am eager to continue making this a successful year.

Ms. Caldwell
