To Athletic Support Groups,
To help local businesses and people in the community from being constantly inundated with sales and/or fundraisers, we are asking for your help. We would like for each group to provide us with the following:
- amount of monies needed during your season to help with team’s expenses (budget);
- the types of things you provide for the team;
- any annual fundraisers you have, and when they occur during the year;
- any additional fundraisers you are doing in the upcoming year; and
- list of officers and their contact information.
We are asking for your help by limiting your sales/fundraising activities to the season prior to and during your sport’s season. Enclosed is a schedule we expect you to follow for the 2015-16 sports’ year. There are going to be things (Loop Festival and Community Days) that come up which will cause you to fundraise outside your window. Just inform us of such happenings. If there are annual fundraisers (football moms running the concession stand during track season) which are outside your window, you have permission to continue them.
The items we asked for should be forwarded to Donna Joseph at firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to 3822 Highland Ave., Shadyside. We realize that some of these items are not known at the present time. Please get us as much information as you can now and continue to update as needed. We will send out the information about your fundraisers to the other groups to help eliminate overlapping sales, etc.
